i don't waste no time with what could have been
i pay no mind to what should have been
but now and then
i seem to bend the truth a bit
cause lately i've been thinking about who i am
but i digress
cause all i really want to know is the difference
between the things i can and things i cannot change
i don't waste no time living in the past
try not to look to far ahead

tried to hide these thoughts they always showed
tried to swallow them they made me choke
